Every Guru Shapes board is shaped and finished by hand, one at a time. Please read through the details below before ordering — a few of these points protect both of us.

Shipping Rates & Details

Rates are in USD and are subject to change.

Standard delivery within the U.S. typically runs 4–7 days or more.

Need it faster? Expedited shipping may be available on request, with rates set at the time of shipping.

Shipping outside the U.S.? Email us first at sales@gurushapes.com so we can confirm we're able to ship to your town or city.

All sales are final.

Color & Tint

Every Guru Shapes board is handcrafted and finished by hand. We do our best to match the colors, tints, pigments, and resin work you ask for, but exact color replication can't be guaranteed.

Resin work is alive. Color shifts with resin batches, pigment mixes, material differences, cure conditions, ambient temperature, humidity, and even the light you view the board under — a few degrees of air temperature on a given day can change how a color lands. Your finished board may differ from color samples, photos, previous boards, or the original color requested. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these variations and understand that color differences from the shaping and glassing process are not defects and are not grounds for a refund.

Lead Times

Any lead time we quote is an estimate only — not a guaranteed completion or delivery date — and is not grounds for a refund.

Build schedules can shift with material availability, supply-chain delays, staffing, weather, shipping disruptions, order volume, and other factors outside our control. Guru Shapes reserves the right to adjust estimated completion dates as needed. Please don't book travel, events, contests, retail, or other time-sensitive plans around an estimated lead time.

Board Breakage

Surfboards are lightweight performance craft — not indestructible. Breakage can come from impacts, collisions, rough handling, air travel, shipping, storage conditions, wave force, rider error, or ordinary use. Guru Shapes is not responsible for boards that crack, buckle, snap, pressure-dent, or are otherwise damaged after delivery.

Fin boxes are built to hold up to normal surfing, but they can still be damaged by impacts, improper fin installation or removal, collisions, transport, misuse, excessive stress on the fin system, poor storage, or prolonged exposure to heat or direct sun. Guru Shapes is not liable for broken, cracked, loosened, or damaged fin boxes after delivery.

Custom Orders

Every Guru Shapes board is built to order. Because each one is custom, specifications, dimensions, colors, artwork, and finishing details are subject to reasonable shaping and glassing variations. By submitting an order, you acknowledge and accept these policies and understand that minor variations are not defects and are not grounds for cancellation, return, replacement, or refund.

Shipping Damage

Report any shipping damage within 4 days of delivery. Email us at sales@gurushapes.com with photos of the damage — including the packaging and detailed shots of the board. Please keep all packaging materials; you'll need them for the claim. We cannot guarantee reimbursement or replacement.
